In Venice but in the countryside… in the lagoon but at the seaside…

Welcome to the island of Sant’Erasmo

Hidden away and little known even to the most inquisitive tourist, this is where nature takes over and allows the senses to reboot. The island of Sant’Erasmo is Venice’s best kept secret!

Nicknamed “the garden of venice”, Sant’Erasmo is a patchwork of different shades of lush green, dotted with trees, vineyards and vegetable gardens. It is the 2nd largest island in the lagoon, inhabited by the lucky few and provides the best of both worlds: a boat ride away from the islands of Murano and Venice where the city frenzy takes over and you get on with being a tourist; then back on the boat to escape the maddening crowds back to tranquility and idyllic surrounds.
